A habitat is the environment in which an organism lives. In other words, it is an organism’s home. My habitat is a brown house with a bright red door, a big yard, a lot of trees, and a pool. I share my habitat with my mom, my dad, and my little sister; we have two cats and a bird. A niche is the job an organism has within its habitat. In my habitat, my niche is to wash the dishes, wash and fold laundry, and to clean where it is needed. My sister has the same niche, so we split the work evenly most of the time. My parents, however, have a different niche. My dad does a lot of cleaning, including vacuuming. My mom does the cooking, most of the grocery shopping, and laundry. The way my habitat functions will definitely change in the future. First of all, I will be driving in a few years, so I will have to go grocery shopping and drive my sister places such as school. I want to follow the career path of photography and or journalism. I love art and I have such a passion for it in every form. In conclusion, my habitat and niche are unique for me, and they conform to my life style perfectly.
